Whether you’re seeking therapy or counseling for yourself, your child, or your teen, we’ll co-create a plan that aligns with your values and goals.
Kimberly Beckler, LMHC and Founder of Life in Focus Therapy, PLLC
Counseling and therapy services are available via confidential telehealth for adults throughout Florida, and in-person for children and teens at my Maitland office. A limited number of reduced-rate spots are available for Florida educators and school leaders seeking counseling or therapy support with stress, burnout, anxiety, secondary trauma, and the emotional demands unique to serving as an educator and leader.
Personalized Services
At Life in Focus Therapy, I work collaboratively with clients to help them find clarity, strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and heal emotional pain. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, burnout, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, we’ll work together toward your goals—and what you want most out of therapy and out of life.
I draw from a range of therapy modalities tailored to each client’s needs, including:
• EMDR – for processing trauma and distressing experiences
• DBT – tools for mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness
• CBT – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for shifting thought and behavior patterns
• Play Therapy – for children to express and process through play
• Expressive Arts – creative approaches to healing and self-discovery
• Solution-Focused Therapy – goal-oriented strategies that build on strengths

About Kimberly Beckler, LMHC
I began as a licensed therapist in 2007, with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College and a background in school-based mental health. Over the years, my professional path has included a range of leadership roles within the Orange County school system—from serving as a school principal to leading district-wide initiatives as Director of Mental Health Services.
These experiences have shaped a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students, families, and the professionals who walk alongside them.
Now, through Life in Focus Therapy, PLLC, I bring the combination of clinical therapeutic experience and leadership in education—offering compassionate, personalized support that honors both lived experience and clinical expertise.
I’ve successfully supported students, parents, educators, and leaders through anxiety, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, behavioral challenges, and more—and I carry that insight into every session. In addition to providing therapeutic support through individual counseling services, I am also passionate about continuing my work in education and training on a variety of topics related to parenting, leadership, and mental health. For example, I recently had an opportunity to present on a WESH 2 News Back to School Town Hall special on the topic of “Teens and Technology”.
